Share your research at the Cellular-Organ Models, Mechanotransduction and Emerging Biomimetic Technologies (COMMET) Symposium 2026, taking place November 23–27, 2026, at Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM, Mexico City.
COMMET welcomes contributions from students, researchers, academics, clinicians, engineers, and professionals working across disciplines.
From mechanobiology and mechanotransduction to organ-on-chip technologies, biomaterials, biofabrication, organoids, microfluidics, and advanced biological models.
Accepted abstracts may be presented as a Poster Presentation or FlashTalk.
During abstract submission, you will be asked to indicate your preferred presentation format: Poster or FlashTalk.
Your selected format is a preference and cannot be guaranteed.
The final presentation format will be determined by the COMMET Scientific Committee based on abstract evaluation, relevance to the scientific program, and session availability.
The assigned presentation format will be communicated to the presenting author in the acceptance notification.

Authors assigned to a Poster Presentation must prepare a printed scientific poster according to the following specifications:
Size: 90 cm wide × 120 cm high
Orientation: Portrait (vertical)
Language: English
The poster should clearly display:
The use of figures, diagrams, images, and graphs is encouraged. Text and visual elements should be large enough to be easily read during the poster session.
Presenting authors are responsible for printing and bringing their poster to the symposium.
Poster boards and materials for mounting the posters will be available at the venue.
Each poster will be assigned a poster number, session, date, and presentation time. This information will be communicated to the presenting author before the symposium.
The presenting author must be present at the poster during the assigned Poster Session to discuss the work with attendees.
There is no need to submit your poster file in advance.
Authors selected for a FlashTalk will give a short oral presentation highlighting the main message of their work.

FlashTalk presentations should focus on the essential elements of the work:
Keep slides visually clear and concise. We strongly recommend prioritizing figures, diagrams, and key results over large amounts of text.
To ensure smooth transitions between speakers and avoid technical delays during the sessions, authors whose abstracts are accepted for a FlashTalk must submit their presentation in advance.
FlashTalk presentation submission deadline: November 18, 2026
Presentations received after the deadline may not be included in the final session setup.
Instructions and the link for uploading the presentation will be sent directly to authors selected for a FlashTalk.
Please bring a backup copy of your presentation on a USB drive on the day of your session.

Complete the Abstract Submission Form with the requested author information, scientific topic, preferred presentation format, and abstract.
Your abstract will be reviewed by the COMMET Scientific Committee.
If accepted, the presenting author will receive an acceptance notification indicating the assigned presentation format and additional instructions.
Abstract submission and symposium registration are separate processes.
Submitting an abstract does not automatically register you for COMMET Symposium 2026.
At least the presenting author of an accepted contribution must complete the COMMET registration process to participate in the symposium.
