Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the online submission portal (URL:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf6yBWMMxgtMWSWxrsrPUurniVu5a9nr7wUwldFRGkNmeh2Vw/viewform?usp=preview). Submissions sent by email will not be accepted.
Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
Presentation Type: Abstracts will be considered for 7 min oral presentation or poster. The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for presentation, with consideration given to the author’s preference.
Presenting authors must be registered participants. Only abstracts whose presenting authors have completed their registration and paid the applicable registration fee by the corresponding presenter registration deadline will be scheduled for presentation and included in the official symposium program.
There is no limitation on the number of authors and the submissions per user, however, each person can be selected as a presenter for a maximum of one (1) abstract. If you submit more than one abstract, please make sure to appoint different presenters.
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Abstracts submitted to the COMMET Symposium must represent original work. The symposium welcomes abstracts describing research that has been previously presented at scientific meetings (encore abstracts), provided that, whenever possible, they include updated results, analyses, or new findings that reflect the progress of the research. If any data included in the abstract have been previously published in a scientific journal or conference proceedings, it is the responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that submission to the COMMET Symposium complies with the copyright policies of the original publisher. Abstracts accepted from registered participants will be published in the official COMMET Symposium Abstract Book. When the submitted work is based, in whole or in part, on previously published material, appropriate references must be included.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: At the time of submission, the submitting author will be requested to provide a brief conflict of interest statement on behalf of all co-authors. If the abstract is selected for oral presentation, the presenting author will be contacted additionally to complete a mandatory detailed Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
