Dr. América Alejandra Padilla Viveros is a Cinvestav researcher, Biotechnology Engineer, and PhD graduate in Chemical-Biological Sciences specialising in transforming scientific knowledge into impactful innovation. Her work brings together technology transfer, intellectual property, research valorisation, and the circular bioeconomy to help move biotechnology developments in health, agri-food, and environmental fields into protected, scalable technologies with real-world applications. She is co-inventor of national and international patents and a utility model, including a 3D bioprinting device recognised with the 2024 IMPI Mexican Innovation Award.
